Daniel Padilla was listed by AMA Titans to become one of its members for the PBA D-League.
Aquino & Abunda Tonight clarified on Tuesday the rumor that Daniel Padilla is joining the PBA D-League and playing for the team AMA Titans.
AMA confirmed that they indeed listed Padilla as one of the members of their team for the PBA D-League since the Teen King is the school’s endorser. The heartthrob, on the other hand, clarified that even though he wanted to play basketball and join the AMA Titans, his showbiz commitments would not allow him.
Daniel Padilla went solo on today’s ASAP 19 to perform his Himig Handog entry “Simpleng Tulad Mo.”
“Simpleng Tulad Mo” is written and composed by MJ Magno for the “Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs 2014″ competition. The Teen King, the interpreter of the song, sang the entry on ASAP for the first time.

An audio clip featuring the conversation of two or three young men–one of them is allegedly Daniel Padilla–making fun of other celebrities is circulating on YouTube and social media sites.
Dubbed as the newest internet scandal, the audio puts ABS-CBN’s hottest young actor Daniel Padilla on the midst of controversy as netizens point a finger to the Teen King for cursing and making fun of other celebrities.
The audio was extracted from a video which was allegedly taken secretly while Daniel and his cousin RJ Padilla were having a conversation. Thus, the video was dark and has no clear image that will confirm that it was indeed Daniel as one of the young men in the conversation. Some netizens, however, identified the voices as Daniel’s and his cousin RJ’s.
The voice that resembles Daniel’s talked about how he gets excited whenever he receives a text message from a girl which netizens speculate as Jasmine Curtis-Smith, the Teen King’s co-star in the MMFF movie “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo.”

One of the boys in the recording said: “Wala na si Patrick. Wala nang mangugulo sa ‘kin. Wala na ‘yung tropa ni Sam.” The name Sam served as an important clue for netizens to speculate that Daniel was talking about Sam Concepcion, the boyfriend of Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
A day after the “audio scandal” circulated on YouTube, Daniel posted the following statement on his official Twitter account (@imdanielpadilla):

IT’S CONFIRMED! Daniel Padilla admitted in an interview that it was indeed him behind the voice in the controversial audio scandal which circulated online over the weekend.
A day before Daniel walked the ramp of Bench’s denim and underwear fashion show for the first time, an audio clip featuring the conversation of a group of boys-–one of them is being identified by netizens as the Teen King-–making fun of other celebrities circulated on YouTube and social media sites (READ HERE FOR RELATED ARTICLE).
The Teen King revealed on Monday that a friend secretly captured a video of their conversation and uploaded it on the video sharing site YouTube.
“Wala e, ganun talaga e. We’re not really that close pero he’s still a friend so…nangyayari talaga, di ko naman alam baka…ok lang.”
After his admission, Daniel thanked all his supporters who stood by him during this difficult time. He also made a request to everyone to stop bothering the people that he mentioned in the audio scandal.
“Sobrang thankful. Ang dami kong nakitang mga totoong tao sa akin, lahat ng mga sumuporta sa akin. May request lang ako na ‘yung mga taong ibang nasangkot, ‘wag na natin idamay dahil ako rin mismo ang nahihiya.”
The Teen King also revealed the that the reason why he hugged Kathryn during their stint at Bench’s “The Naked Truth” fashion show was because the Teen Queen forgave his lapse of judgement.
“Alam naman natin na nalungkot din naman talaga si Kathryn dahil misunderstanding e. Na-explain ko na lahat, naintindihan niya naman at ‘yung yakap na ‘yun ay talagang pagpapasalamat na pinatawad niya ako. Dun lang ako nagkamali, lalake ako e.”

Last month, Daniel Padilla figured in an audio scandal which the young actor confirmed and apologized about. This time around, an alleged photo scandal came out. But it is legit?
Two weeks ago, a blurred video featuring the conversation of Daniel Padilla and his friends circulated online which netizens dubbed as the Teen King’s Audio Scandal (CLICK HERE FOR RELATED ARTICLE). The young actor admitted that it was indeed his voice that was heard in the infamous audio scandal and he apologized to the public for his lapse of judgment.
Yesterday, a photo of a man changing clothes inside the comfort room with his butt exposed went viral on Facebook because of the caption:
Haha! Share ko lang po itong butt exposure ng yabang king–Daniel Padilla. Nangyari ito nung Naked Truth Bench. WARNING: WAG MO NANG LOKOHIN SI KATHRYN KUNDI MAY MAS MALALA PANG SCANDAL NA LALABAS. Enjoy! :)
The post originated obviously from a hater of the young actor based from the caption but the photo, however, was used only to implicate Daniel Padilla but it’s actually a hoax.
Hoax, according to the dictionary, means something intended to deceive; deliberate trickery intended to gain an advantage, and this is what they want the people to believe–that it was the Teen King’s own photo scandal. But the man on the photo with his butt exposed is actually Sebastian Castro and it was screen-grabbed from from his old “video scandal” which went viral last year.
So for those who are wishing and fantasizing about a photo scandal of the Teen King, it’s not gonna happen. Well, at least for now.

Kathryn Bernardo finally explained the “kissing photo” with Daniel Padilla which became viral on social media a couple of days ago.
In an interview by Aquino and Abunda Tonight, here’s what Kathryn has to say about the issue:
“Mahilig si DJ na ganyan ganyanin ang mukha ko inaasar niya kasi yung cheeks ko so nagpicture sila siguro nung ginaganun ‘yung face ko na nasakto, parang na-block ‘yung face ko kaya kung titignan mo siya sa picture mukha siguro siyang naka-kiss,” she said.

“Normal lang naman kung paano mo maramdaman kung mangyari sa inyo ‘yun, ganun din siguro po ang naramdaman ko. Basta ngayon nag-grow kami pareho,” she added.

Daniel Padilla invites his legion of fans to purchase Kathryn Bernardo’s self-titled debut album from Star Music.
In a video message released by Star Music, Daniel is pleading to their fans to buy Kathryn’s album.
“Kung ako bibili ako mga limang libo niyan, kaya kayo kahit isa lang ibigay niyo na. Hinding hindi kayo magsisisi, sisiguraduhin kong hinding hindi kayo magsisisi sa album na ito, napaka-cute, napakaganda ng boses, talagang talented na tao talaga.
